Background: Saved from a disease by Carlisle, Edward was introduced to the vegitarian lifestyle of Carlisle. Hating Carlisle for denying who he was, Edward used his supernatural mind-reading to locate criminals and kill them, satiating his own thirst in the process. He began to lament, and returned to Carlisle, who welcomed him back with open arms. Since then he has led a 'vegitarian' lifetsyle, which is living off of animal blood. Mountain lions are his preferance.
